A Quick Thanks

First, thanks to everyone for being so excited about this new site. I think if you take a look around at some of the other great MLB team blogs via the links on the right hand side of the screen, you'll notice few of them have the number of contributors that we have. That's absolutely fantastic. In fact, to be a bit cheesey, I'll say we've put the FAN in FANtastic.

Enough of that.

Moving on, here are the numbers on our beloved Twinkie Town since we've come online:

Total Visits: 16,390
Total Page Views: 53,072
Average Visits per Day: 568
Average PV's per Day: 1,787
Visits THIS WEEK: 3,976
PV's THIS WEEK: 12,511

My Participation

My participation hasn't been what I've wanted it to be so far. I've done three or four posts per week since we've started, and honestly, it's killing me that I've only been doing that many. There have been computer and internet issues, but they're being resolved and hopefully I'll have full-time access and be able to write more frequently after the turn of the New Year.

So, keep hanging with me, keep the debates running, and keep the posts coming...thanks again for your participation, everyone.

Thanks for getting this running and all.

A quick question: Will there be any help on posting tables and/or graphics to diary entries? This is the one thing I've had the most trouble with switching over from TT. Thanks.

Tables and graphics

The best I've found to posting tables is saving an excel chart as a .gif file. I've tried HTML formatting for charts but it doesn't work or I'm not doing something right. As far as graphics I'm not sure. I'll look into it and post something on it when I find out.

Cool, sounds good

I've actually experimented around, and I think I've got the table thingy down, so I'll try to do a post on that soon. The graphics would be cool, too, 'cause presenting data in graphs is sometimes way more instructive than looking at tables.
