Twins new alternative jerseys

Tear the sleeves off the old one and call it alternative?

Considering the team never had a sleeveless uniform in the past, wouldn't it at least have made sense to try and put a little real history into it?  Funny thing is, if you go to MLB.com, the standard jersey (with sleeves and patches) goes for $159.99.  Take the sleeves and patches off for the alternative one, and they're charging $179.99.  Huhh?  Other than novelty, I'd think the reason to have alternative jerseys is to something new to sell to the fans.  This "alternative" is so much the same as the standard, who's going to buy it?  The least they could do is show a little imagination.  Here's my 10 seconds of thought, and 20 minutes of work.

I wonder what the Twin's marketing whizzes got paid to come up with their "idea"?
