I love it.

It seems fans of the Anaheim...um...Los Angeles...um...of the Angels were cheering for the Twins today. We couldn't pull it together, so...well, they called us some great names. If you want evidence of some uber-emotional fans, check out Halos Heaven. Lots of fans, plenty of fanatics.

Oh, and one in particular thinks that everything here is a novel. It's given me a slogan for the site:

...everyone in the AL West SportsBlogs complains about them.

Now that we had three bad games at an unfortunate time, I'm ready to get behind the A's. Their biggest weakness in the regular season was health. Right now, they've got most of their important parts healthy. They have a deadly approach at the plate, a shut-down defense, and a great starting rotation. (Loazia is way better than most folks give him credit for, too.) I'd like to see the A's go all the way so we don't have to hear about how Billy Beane's "Stuff" doesn't work in the playoffs.

Yep...

A's should win it all. And for any Angel fans reading this, as long as it's Billy Beane v. Bill Stoneman, they will dominate your shitty division for years.

I make my comments about the Angels and their fans because I live in Angel country, and I can tell you, there basically WEREN'T fans until 2002. Them and USC-not just biased, but the biggest group of bandwagoners I can think of in sports.

Go to an Angel game. All you see is BRIGHT red, as in, merchandise purchased in the last couple years. No old stuff.

Ridiculous.

I especially love...

the poster on their site that said something about the Angels "dominating" so people are hating on them. Umm, when have the Angels dominated? By winning the most fluke World Series of the last 25 years? Otherwise, I see a whole lot of nothing out of Anahe...Los Ange...umm, the Angels.

Twinkie Town: for Twins fans who can write

I basically post on two sites, this one and Sickels', with an occasional comment over at Aaron' sor Seth's. But they don't do diaries. Anyway, Sickel's site sucks despite great content because there are only two people who actually back up what they say with a little argument (Me and Indians fan). Here, we carry on the tradition of the Geek, who doesn't just state an opinion, he backs it up with thoughtful analysis.

So Angels fans, you can have your one liners and your comments from left field that make no sense in context. I'll take a well writen post that might take a couple of minutes of my time but is so much more satisfying than your terse drivel.
