Dear Ron

Dear Ron,

I didnt think it was possible to get both punto and castro in to a game but some how you found a way to suprise me yet again.  You are the man and are unbelievably creative and resourseful.  What i would really like to complement you on is how you can make all these moves and actually get away with it.  Especially the switching of mauer and redman. That fact that redman actually hits when he bats third is amazing.  Not a manager in baseball would try that move yet you do it regularly and it works.

I would also like to compliment you on what seems to be your best virtue, patience.  The fact that you just keep handing kyle lohse the ball every fifth day even-though mulholland could do a better job really impresses me.  I also like the way you handle your young players.  The way you keep the pressure off of liriano by letting him get his work in games that are allready out of reach is uncanny.  a young guy can really work on his stuff when the team is down by ten.  I also enjoy the way you keep "veteran" players in the lineup.  God knows no other manager would play these guys but you'll stick with them until the end.  But i guess that why you're a players manager.

I wish you were my boss Ron.  When i'd screw up the quaterly numbers you'd tell everyone that it was ok because i handeled the mouse "really good," and you tell everyone i was a "postitive influence on the office."  Even though everyone knows better they would listen to you because you're the boss.

Keep up the amazing work!!!

Regards,

Mutt

P.S. Terry Ryan seems like a pretty intelligent guy, how do you pull these shenaginans without him wising up? Impressive.
