Well, forget any thoughts you might have had about Alexi Castilla being the backup shortstop. He was optioned top AAA this morning along with Garrett Jones and Scott Baker.
So I guess it's Luis Rodriguez or a trade... I personally think this means we'll see a trade announced very soon.
Baker and Jones being sent down was to be expected.
