Community Projection - Juan Rincon

[What is this?]

Sorry, I don't have time for an intro here.  What do you think Rincon will do this year?

As usual, if you're submitting a projection (and please do so), just make a comment including your projected innings pitched, ERA, strikeouts/9, walks/9, home runs/9.  Discussion/suggestions encouraged, and thanks to those who have been letting their opinions be known.

I'd say that's about right...
maybe a little bit better (2.90 ERA?), and is traded in late June for help elsewhere, hopefully a package for a stopgap 3b until Moses/Winfree are ready in 2009.

Rincon
Rincon was a little hurt last year, and it affected his performance somewhat.

77 IP, 2.60 ERA, 8.6 K/9, 3.1 BB/9, 7.3 H/9 (that's the number that really skyrocketed when he had the groin problem at the end of last year, and it'll come back in line with the last threee years.

Basically, even with the tough stretch last year, he's been veru consistent over the last three years, and I basically just predicted an average of those years with a little boost for him being healthy.

Baseball is great because you cant take a knee or kill the clock. You gotta put the ball over the plate and give the other guy his damn shot E Weaver abridged
