Twins reach final four...

of the DodgerSims Mid-Season Simulation Tournament. The Twins will face the upset minded Royals in the AL finals and the Giants will face the Cubs in the NL finals. The tournament is single elimination format, with each head to head matchup consisting of a best 4 out of 7 series, with a four man rotation for each team. The semi finals and finals will be played this evening. The Twins swept the Orioles in the first round, then swept the Devil Rays in the second round, and found much tougher competition in the Tigers in the third round, but beat them four games to two.

lost in the finals

The Twins knocked off the Royals, then lost to the Cubs in the Championship four games to two. The big blow was losing both games that Santana started in (vs Zambrano).
