The Twins just got swept by the Tigers (but) all the games could have been won in my opinion if the Twins had a little more offense.

Regardless, the Twins are in a pretty big hole in the Division so... is it time to focus on the Wild Card?

The Twins have the Indians and Mariners ahead of them in the Wild Card race. Cleveland has looked like they are capable of being beat lately and Seattle is in the playoff hunt for the first time in awhile. To me these are teams that could be caught by the Twins but the Twins are going to need that move to get a bat we keep hearing about.

Personally I hope that better bat comes from a new 3B but I'll take it in LF or DH. But think if we had Wiggington or Johnson, Young or maybe Glaus in the lineup. It cetainly would be better than having Punto and Tyner in it, w/ Ford coming off the bench.

I think I'm ready to switch gears and start looking at the Wild Card as the Twins ticket to ride.  What does the board think?
