Twins are down 9-3 in Game 1. Everybody and their dog has scored for Kansas City in the sixth. The Twins have allowed eleven hits and made two throwing errors.

I wonder if maybe we could get a new, decent team to go along with our new, decent ballpark.

Game 2 is tonight at 7:10. Thankfully, everyone will have a chance to leave the ballpark for awhile and drink themselves silly to forget this one.

I had mostly tuned out the radio broadcast by this point, but my guess is that Gardy had declared the game a lost cause. 9-4 in the bottom of the ninth... you may as well let Jones take a few swings and let Hunter have a little bit more rest before Game 2.
