Sox Going Down
It's the start of the bottom of the ninth inning and the Bitch Sox are down by 4. in for the Rays comes... Grant Balfour?
A little tiny bit of Twins involvement in the death of the Sox.
Lovely, just absolutely lovely.
Balfour's gonna have to face the heart of the orer, starting with Thome. It's gonna be a sad city in Chicago, after the way the Cubs blew it.
Go Rays!

1 Out
Thome grounds out, 1 down. The radio guys are talking about Balfour’s strike throwing problems with the twins.
Balfour this year, by the way, had an under 2 ERA this year in 58 innings.

very mature
especially for one of our “moderators”
The Twins would certainly not have fared any better against the Rays.

you kidding?!
who split a 4 game series with the Rays and certainly had the opportunity to win 3 of the 4 games? The TWINS…please dont say that we would not have fared any better. On the contrary, I think we would have had a great opportunity to beat the Rays.

: )
spoken like a true 11 year old girl (with tears in your eyes)…

How can you be sure ?
look at the last 4 games of the season…
it would all depend on which offense showed up but it’s no lock that the Twins would have done any better. I’d like to think they would but I’m a Twins fan so I can’t say that that’s not just the homer in me.
look at the recent playoffs for the Twins and we probably would have watched 4 more games of baseball.
and calling somebody an 11 yr old girl just seems overly harsh man!

I was sort of kidding
calling some fellow Twins fan an 11 yr old girl is kinda funny

Eh, go to another board, they use worse words. The Sox are one one team I don't feel bad going all out for.

Ah, another Twin...
….I’m not calling what he has success, but these people always seem to do better in terms of playoffs once they leave.
That said, I predicted this would happen to the White Sox. After all, if they could barely beat us, how are they going to make any waves in the playoffs?
