Couldn't agree more...

I think we’d be legitimate World Series contenders.

I just wouldn’t part with Baker or Slowey for him, so I hope they could live with something like Perkins or Blackburn, Boof, and 1-2 other prospects.

id love to see hardy it would make us a deep threat, but i dont see it as a realistic trade option for us. the giants asked the Brewers about J.J. Hardy, but Milwaukee doesn’t want to move him and its not like the twins to trade the amount of talent it would take for a short term loan he will demand too large of a contract.

Yeah, I think...

Milwaukee would be asking too much for Hardy IMO. A trade for Yunel Escobar seems a lot more likely given the fact that the Braves need another soild starter and have already shown that they are wiling to shop him.
