OT: Shades of Fran Tarkenton

Am I the only one who flashed back to old number 10 last night? I was thinking the kid had the same body type and arm of the young Tarkenton, when he played for the Giants in the late 60s. But it didn't hit home until that unbelievable play that set up the winning touchdown.

It's 3rd and long. If the Giants don't convert, it's game over. He drops back and the pocket collapses on him. Three Patriots have their arms around him and somehow he ducks out of it, rolls back and wings a prayer over the middle. His third receiver makes as good a play on the other end for a 30-yard gain. First down Giants at the Patriots 30 or so. A few runs and a pass into the end zone and it was over.

Whew! What a game.
