I know we all know this
But seriously, every time I see Gomez I can’t help but marvel at how incredibly, freakily fast he is. Bartlett would’ve had no chance to get him on that roller to 2nd even if he had hung onto the ball, and he actually made a decent play out of his sharp grounder to Longoria in the first.
Gomez is undoubtedly my favorite part of watching the team right now. Just need to get on base a little more ;)

Pitching
The pitching from Livan, Baker and Blacky have been much better than expected. Everyone in the relief corps has sucked major wind, except for the closer. Is it me or does every time a reliever from the Twins enters the game the first batter delivers multiple RBI?
Has it been mechanical or mental?

He was really good until last night
He had three quality starts in three tries going into last nights game. Some games, guys just don’t have it. Last night, he didn’t have a curve ball, which is his best pitch. He’s very ordinary without a curve ball.
