Some of those knee-high pitches weren’t called strikes, but they could have been. It’d be good to see him stay sharp.

Back on track. He was all over the place against Catalanotto, but no harm done.

He came right after Lamb, Monroe and Tolbert—right around the strike zone with all of them this time. Tolbert hacked at the first pitch, but at least Lamb and Monroe made him throw a strike before getting themselves out.

Those first two from Baker to Kinsler looked like strikes to me.

Was that Mauer’s 5th GIDP in only the 21st game? THAT is not a stat which makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.
