Would the real Jason Kubel please stand up?

As Ubel said, he was just in a slump. He sat for a few games and did extra work in the cage, now he’s back to his old self.

I hope this is a bump and not the start of a slide.
After something like 12 days out of 1st Place, I’m curious to see how the team responds.

Several guys were visibly unhappy with Runge – particularly Justin Morneau after being called out on strikes in the third inning, and Carlos Gomez after two outside pitches were called strikes in the ninth. Morneau said, “That’s horse—-,” as he left the plate, and Gomez spent most of the distance between his out at first base and the dugout yelling at SOMEONE in Spanish.

You think Stewart has not been relishing this? He was hitting something like .220 when the series began.

PS-I wish someone would throw Stairs a strike to start an at bat once in a while. He’s walked like 9 times in 2 games and hit 11 homers….well maybe not quite that many, but the Twins have transmogrified him into a .300 hitter.
