tonights lineup shows a bit of promise
I’ll go out on a limb and say kubel and lamb both have big nights against ponson
Gardenhire's major league career: Banjo hitting, futility infielder who couldn't lick it.
Rick Anderson's major league career: Strikethrower who never made it happen with his sub 90's fastball.
Really gives a new definition to living vicariously through other people, don't it?
Ponson is being is typical self and putting plenty on the bases
the Twins will have to hit with RISP to win tonight, something that has seemed to be on and off throughout the year

is still empty. i’ll keep trying. let’s hope we learned something from the last time ponson pitched against us, and can take him out earlier this time around.

Blackburn
6 up, 6 down
Pop up, ground out, strikeout, strikeout, line out, ground out.
Nice.
Now I’m going to bed so our offense can score.
Ponson
His GB/FB ratio is maybe a bit above average, but leave it to the Twins to make him look like a groundball machine. 6 outs, 6 groundballs. Makes me sick, were content beating the ball into the turf while other teams find ways to get the ball in the air even off guys you might consider groundball pitchers.

Looks like we’re aiding in the effort to anoint Ponson as the comeback player of the year

Sir Fat does it again
Are you kidding me? Bad loss for the Twins. Did Blackburn just run out of gas? Is it time for someone to find an “injury” w/ Rincon so someone else can take his place in the bullpen? Finally is it time for Cuddyer to take some time off and get his head on straight? Sorry Mike but most abats for you feel like automatic outs for me.
ridiculous
-Now we know why they wanted Sid so bad, so he wouldn’t return and do this to us. 18 goundouts, 5 k’s
-Blackburn can hopefully build some toughness from this start
-2nd benching Cuddyer for a couple
-2nd ditching Rincon, hopefully permanently
