It's too early, with the Twins still in contention. But starter Livan Hernandez's trade value probably won't be higher than it is now, and it will be interesting to see whether the right-hander, 33, is dealt for some power by the All-Star Game in July.
Hernandez can become a free agent at season's end, and if he continues at his present pace he is expected to command much more than the $5 million the Twins are paying him.

It’s awesome that a) the Twins are in contention and b) Livan Hernandez has trade value. Who knows how long it will last, but I’m enjoying being a Twins fan right now.

This only happens if Liriano gets consistent command and his velocity back. Looks like part A is starting to come along, plan B might take a while though.
