I had to jack some names and positions...
...the widget didn’t give the correct lineup today. I wonder if they changed it just prior to game time. The widget originally had:
gomez
casilla
mauer
morneau
cuddyer
kubel
young
harris
macri
Surprise surprise...
...Swisher, 3-run bomb.
Same old, same old. This series has sucked major, major balls.
Remember that mound visit about 17 batters ago? It went something like this:
Anderson: Okay Kev, you’re it—we need you to get through this.
Slowey: No problem, coach. I got it.
Anderson: Good to hear. Because not matter how nightmarish things get, we’re not lifting you. Not now. Not in the third inning, okay?
Slowey: No problem, coach. I got it.
Ugh, the Twins are in Trouble, Good outing for Rincon though, might have saved himself and it could be Bass or Bonser that is DFA’d instead.
Rincon
I’ve disliked Rincon since the days he got busted (he acted like he was two years old), and the meltdown against the Yankees in the playoffs was the last straw. He always pitches great in meaningless outings. That’s what makes it so tempting to keep him on board, but now is the time for a flush.

College Baseball
This is why I don’t like watching college baseball. It is tilted too far towards the hitters and the scores almost always reach double digits.
Wait, this was the major leagues? Huh.
