Thanks man.
I’ll post the lineups now, but I appreciate your throwing them up in the comments. You’re always welcome to do that if the mood strikes you, because sometimes I’m not around/in bed by the time lineups are posted.

no problem….say has my brother contacted you yet?
by 33MorneauMVP on Jul 5, 2008 7:27 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
huh
hes really busy I know but I am surprised that he (CarterHayes) has not contacted you.
by 33MorneauMVP on Jul 5, 2008 7:30 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Yeah I remember
you saying he was your brother. I just checked my email but I haven’t seen anything. Email me via the address on my profile, and I’ll check my junkmail folder as well in case it went there by accident.
by Jesse on Jul 5, 2008 7:34 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
yeah
I will do that….maybe you can email him and ask him how he is doing. I think he would like to talk to you.

what
a great job by Slowey there! Wow! After a doink triple, Slowey retires the next three without allowing Sizemore to score. Great Job!
by 33MorneauMVP on Jul 5, 2008 7:19 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Craigsy!!!!!
Man, for a guy who can’t hit, he’s come up with some mega run-scoring hits.
Mauer scores, Morneau scores…2-0, Twins.
by Jesse on Jul 5, 2008 7:28 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Double by Dellucci...
...Choo scores. 2-1, Twins.
by Jesse on Jul 5, 2008 7:35 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
oofta
Slowey is getting rocked here in the second inning.
by 33MorneauMVP on Jul 5, 2008 7:40 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
interesting
thing here. Sizemore needs one more stolen base to go 100-100. 100 career homers and 100 career SB. He would be something like second in Indians history to do it.

Slowey
rough inning for Slowey last time
by DedicatedFollowerOfFashion on Jul 5, 2008 7:55 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
comes back
comes back with a fine inning
by DedicatedFollowerOfFashion on Jul 5, 2008 7:59 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
It was indeed...
....hopefully that’s the bump in the road, and he can finish his night with a string of zeros.
by Jesse on Jul 5, 2008 7:59 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
that
that was a tough pitch
by DedicatedFollowerOfFashion on Jul 5, 2008 8:08 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
balk!
balk!
Mauer in scoring postion, hes now pretty much guarenteed to get in
by DedicatedFollowerOfFashion on Jul 5, 2008 8:09 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
How was it a balk?
I’m just watching online, it says Monroe walked.
by Jesse on Jul 5, 2008 8:11 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
the pitcher
the pitcher did not stop. he got the signs and threw the ball. you are supposed to wait a second or so.
aw nuts. still pleanty of game to score
by DedicatedFollowerOfFashion on Jul 5, 2008 8:13 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Wow...
...was that pitch as far outside as it looked to Delmon?
Egads, if so.
by Jesse on Jul 5, 2008 8:14 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
the pitch
the pitch had some nasty break to it
by DedicatedFollowerOfFashion on Jul 5, 2008 8:17 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Punto
Punto smoked that ball.
by DedicatedFollowerOfFashion on Jul 5, 2008 8:27 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Go Go
Gomez chased a terrible pitch. oof
by DedicatedFollowerOfFashion on Jul 5, 2008 8:31 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
hard they even trying to correct his mistakes at the plate?
he’s been taking extra bad swings lately
by caluofmn on Jul 5, 2008 8:37 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
got one
got one back though. If we keep chiping away at that lead…
by DedicatedFollowerOfFashion on Jul 5, 2008 8:33 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
If Slowey can hold 'em
The Twins look like they’ll score 5 or more tonight.
by Alexi Casilla All-Star on Jul 5, 2008 8:33 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
I'm hoping so...
...every win gets us one win closer to October.
by Jesse on Jul 5, 2008 8:34 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
I am not ready
to talk about post season until the Twins get through this month. They play a lot of road games against the AL East and finish the month against Chicago at the Dome. If they are still within 4-5 games, then I might be on board.
by Alexi Casilla All-Star on Jul 5, 2008 8:45 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
I bet
i bet we score some more. Laffey at 82 pitches already, and Clevelands bullpen is not good
by DedicatedFollowerOfFashion on Jul 5, 2008 8:36 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Laffey
probably won’t last more than six innings. He’s thrown a lot of pitches. Cleveland’s bully is vulnerable.
by Alexi Casilla All-Star on Jul 5, 2008 8:35 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
I wrote it
before Bert said it!
by Alexi Casilla All-Star on Jul 5, 2008 8:36 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
same
same here. haha
by DedicatedFollowerOfFashion on Jul 5, 2008 8:36 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
awesome
awesome pitch to strike out Sizemore. right on the inside corner
by DedicatedFollowerOfFashion on Jul 5, 2008 8:37 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
come slowey hold them at 5
the Twins can still win this one for sure
by caluofmn on Jul 5, 2008 8:38 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
thats one
thats one heck of a play by Punto. Probably on Web gems tonight
by DedicatedFollowerOfFashion on Jul 5, 2008 8:38 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Three up three down for Slowey
in the fifth. Beautiful.
by Jesse on Jul 5, 2008 8:39 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
starting pitcher is really becoming a strength
by the way how was that not an error on Young in the 1st.
Great game yesterday DYoung but you are going to need to knock in a run or two to make up for it (Slowey saved his bacon in the first)
by caluofmn on Jul 5, 2008 8:41 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
shoot
I mean Mauer!
by DedicatedFollowerOfFashion on Jul 5, 2008 8:44 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Harris ends the inning.
Twins pick up another one…5-4 after five, Cleveland.
by Jesse on Jul 5, 2008 8:47 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Now
It’s time to get Slowey off the hook.
by Alexi Casilla All-Star on Jul 5, 2008 8:57 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
What is Slowey's pitch count?
Why not let him go 7
by .mnqwerd on Jul 5, 2008 9:05 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
always exciting when Go Go gets on base
let’s go Twins tie it up
by caluofmn on Jul 5, 2008 9:06 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
All right
All-Star Alexi (in my book)
by Alexi Casilla All-Star on Jul 5, 2008 9:08 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
call it luck if you want
but that was great hitting by Alexi
by caluofmn on Jul 5, 2008 9:11 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
With the long inning
Runs, pitching changes, whatnot, I’m pretty sure Slowey is done for the night. Nice job though!
by Alexi Casilla All-Star on Jul 5, 2008 9:11 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
now if the A's could only rally in Chicago
is it too early to scoreboard watch?
Ha Ha, this is proving to be a fun season after all
by caluofmn on Jul 5, 2008 9:13 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
5-0 Sox
When last I checked. The A’s have Harden going tomorrow, so there is a good chance they’ll win that game.
by Alexi Casilla All-Star on Jul 5, 2008 9:16 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
uh, not what we had in mind
come on Harris!
A 3 run lead would be nice
by caluofmn on Jul 5, 2008 9:17 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Cleveland
has used their only lefty in the ‘pen. If they need to, the Twins can pinch hit Buscher, Lamb, and Kubel and not have to worry about facing a lefty. (I am assuming that Perez will not start the seventh)
by Alexi Casilla All-Star on Jul 5, 2008 9:21 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
does anyone else think that Boof's use out of the pen is too undefined?
Come on Boof give us a quick inning so we can get back at that the Cleveland pen
by caluofmn on Jul 5, 2008 9:24 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Bert
has not too subtly said that Boof needs to pitch inside more. Of all the Twins pitchers, he probably goes inside the least. I think he does have to go inside if he wants to be effective.
by Alexi Casilla All-Star on Jul 5, 2008 9:30 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
come one Boof close the door on the inning
by caluofmn on Jul 5, 2008 9:35 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Liriano Started tonight is Rochester
Final Line
Rochester Wins 2-0
Liriano: 6 IP 3 Hits 0 Runs, 1 Walk 7 Strikeouts.
He is now 6-2 on the season.
by Tony_O on Jul 5, 2008 9:48 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
that
a boy Liriano! It will be a tough uphill battle to get back to the bigs with Hernandez blocking you but keep throwing those knives….

Things Usually Work Out
Somebody slumps, somebody get hurt. If you are putting up numbers they will get you to the big leagues.

Mauer
only one hit tonight. I guess he’s having an okay game.
by Alexi Casilla All-Star on Jul 5, 2008 10:04 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
I think he only had one hit last night tooo
Joe is in a major slump, better sit him tomorrow.
by caluofmn on Jul 5, 2008 10:07 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
kidding of course
but I’m guessing he will sit tomorrow
by caluofmn on Jul 5, 2008 10:13 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Cliff Lee tomorrow
Hopefully, the Twins will score a few runs for Baker.
by Alexi Casilla All-Star on Jul 5, 2008 10:18 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
if
if there was an off day Monday, Mauer would play I bet. But since the Twins travel to Boston, Mauer gets the day off, or is the DH
