I’ll give that win to you, and you knew exactly what you were doing. You made excellent use of Joe McCarthy’s advice, “Never be in a hurry to lose a ballgame.” There was no question the intent was to ice Danks, and it worked.

Fortunately, even some idiot fans couldn’t endanger the strategy. I don’t understand why Ozzie Guillen didn’t demand 8 warmup tosses after the delay. He got out-foxed in that one.
