Unclear

He threw a pitch and all of a sudden the trainer came out, and then he was gone. But it wasn’t obvious what had happened.

man they need to start turning it around soon…

I've said it before and I'll throw out the question again

Did they have to put him on some kind of medication to suppress his anger? Cause I have yet to see the fiery passion he displayed while getting involved with Minor League umpires. He just seems so care free when he’s out there. And not the type of quiet fury that Jason Kubel has. I mean the lost version of care free.

In fairness to Crain

They rarely hit anything too terribly hard against him, they just find the chinks in our crappy armor (ie our defense is pretty terrible right now, not the Twins we’ve grown accustomed to).

Gardenhire's major league career: Banjo hitting, futility infielder who couldn't lick it.
Rick Anderson's major league career: Strikethrower who never made it happen with his sub 90's fastball.
Really gives a new definition to living vicariously through other people, don't it?

13-5 now.

Four more HR’s. I guess that is a good sign for us, because if a team relies on the long ball too much they will fall apart eventually.

If the Twins can keep to their small-ball ways they should be fine down the stretch.

I love the confidence Gardy had in him...

…to let him pitch with runners on the corners. This should happen normally, but I guess I’m watered down with all this “Gardiness” lately..

Don't know why it took Gardy so long to warm to Breslow

He’s been pretty damn good overall.

How much would it be to ask Delmon

to put together a good at bat here and maybe not swing at the first pitch?

the kid has become so predictable

first pitch… foul
second pitch… foul
pitcher set’s him up…
strikeout… or easy out

Seriously

They should just order him to never swing at the first pitch.

and Gomez

Doesn’t help when you have Oliva on a commercial saying “See ball… hit ball”. How about “See ball… swing and fail!”

Now now

No need to drag this place down to the level of a White Sox message board. It was a close one, and Blackburn and Breslow looked good.

I wasn't expecting to whack around Duchscherer

But when Saarloos came in we didn’t take advantage….

Good job Blackburn
Good job Mauer
Good job Breslow
Good job Span

Everyone else… FAIL!
