Relief Help is their now.

the Cubs designated left-hander Scott Eyre for assignment less than two months after his club-record streak of 33 consecutive scoreless appearances ended. Eyre, 36, went 2-0 with a 7.15 ERA in what has been an injury-riddled season. He made 19 appearances in between two stints to the disabled list. The emergence of other lefties in the bullpen, Neal Cotts and Sean Marshall, along with strong performances from new faces Chad Gaudin and Jeff Samardzija squeezed Eyre out.

When healthy Eyre could be bullpen help, His Brother Willie wasnt that Bad when he was here, Any Bullpen help is needed.

Rather

A 36 year old with lots of injuries, an ERA over 7 and an ERA over 4 lat year?

I’d rather have Korecky or Barret, personally.

I agree with Adam.

Before we go back to the scrap heap, let’s try Gomez, Humber, Barrett or Korecky.

I thought..

..the same thing when I saw he was let go. Then I saw the ERA. I’ll pass on him. I’d rather give Korckey or someone at AAA a chance.
