Who Am I?
It's been awhile since we've done this. Nothing like getting everyone to waste their mornings and afternoons at work on a Friday by looking up obscure Twins players...
Who am I? Javier Valentin, winner: bertrecords
* Once upon a time, I was the organization's top catching prospect
* My minor league line is .280/.340/.469
* I was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 3rd round of the amateur entry draft
* I've recorded just one MLB season with an OPS higher than .754...it was .882
Who am I? Derek Lee, winner: GACTwinsFan
* My major league career with the Twins lasted just 15 games, and 33 at-bats
* Those are the only major league at-bats I saw
* My final season was in triple-A Rochester, which wasn't a Minnesota affiliate at the time
* I was a 9th round draft pick by the Pirates
Who am I? Frank Viola, winner: bertrecords
* I made my MLB debut with the Twins, at age 22
* My tenure with the Twins lasted eight seasons
* I ranked in the top 10 for Cy Young voting four times
* In a seven-year stretch, I won 126 games
Who am I? Jerry Koosman, winner: wcooley
* I made 83 starts for the Twins over two full seasons, and part of a third
* In my first year in Minnesota I won 20 games; the second time in my career I met or topped that benchmark
* Born in Appleton, Minnesota, I was a bit of a local boy for my stint with the Twins
* I finished second in ROY voting, and finished in the top ten in Cy Young balloting twice

As usual...
...let me know if these are too difficult. It’s a fine line to straddle what constitutes something too easy to look up and what’s just a ridiculous quest without guidelines.

Jerry Koosman? And did his teammates call him “koos”?

Winner winner chicken dinner!
I’m not sure if they did or not…it was before my time. But if I were sitting in Met Stadium and he was on the mound, I’d cheer “KOOOOOOOOOOOSSS”.
Or maybe they didn’t do that back in the olden days.
...joking…
