I'm not buying the Edwin Jackson

ESPN gives the Twins a 44.6% chance of making the playoffs. Lets get win number 84 tonight!

Edwin Jackson is having no trouble so far

Blackburn’s still in line for a quality start. Can he hold on?

11 to 1

really… 1 run… that’s it???

by caluofmn on Sep 19, 2008 9:46 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

I would be happy if...

…the Twins could win 3 of 4 against the Rays. This would put us in an o.k. position to finish the road trip and finally back home against the White Sox! Go Twins…Don’t give up. This is the summer of STUN!!! Remember:
1987 Super Bowl Champs: New York Giants
1987 World Series Champs: Minnesota Twins
1991 Super Bowl Champs: New York Giants
1991 World Series Champs: Minnesota Twins
2008 Super Bowl Champs: New York Giants
2008 World Series Champs: Minnesota Twins???
Lets let fate decide this one!

You can't change the spots on a leopard and make it into an elephant

The Twins have not really been playing good baseball when it matters most. Last night’s win was as much Tampa Bay’s bungling as the Twins comeback prowess

"I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. See, my mule don't like people laughing. He gets the crazy idea you're laughing at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it . . ."
