I think this is dead-on....
I think Blackburn is a solid 4, but nothing more than that.
I really see him being pushed out by a guy like Swarzak in the next year or so. And I think of Perkins much the same way, though Perkins has some bullpen value as well.

I’ll take Blackburn over Perkins. Blackburn is probalby a #4, maybe a #3, but Perkins doesn’t seem to offer much in my mind. He’s very replaceable, at least with our system. Perkins should be shopped.
