Games are getting bigger

Blackburn—gotta hope he’s on his game.

And, I would much rather play KC than Cleveland right now. The Tribe could well win a couple in Chi-town over the weekend.

And, Gardy, run, run, run on AJ. He throws out 10% of base-stealers. Make him make a play.

I've given up on the Twins

several times this year and even written a post about that very issue.

I find that the Twins don’t really come around until you give up on them at least three times.

Well, we've got 1, time to get 2 more....

The bullpen needs to be on full alert tomorrow and Gardy needs to have a quick hook.

If Blackburn struggles in the 2nd inning, pull him for Humber.
If Humber struggles, then Boof for a couple.
Then Breslow.
Then Crain.
Then Mijares.
Then Nathan.

Gotta bring out all the horses tomorrow if need be. And we need the top of the order to deliver tomorrow. It’s a good sign that we won 9-3 with 1-4 having a minimal impact overall.

And please, for the love of God, start Kubel again! He’s our 3rd best hitter.

Good Game!

I really enjoyed this game but now we must come back down to earth and get ready for todays game.

Keys:

Blackburn must stay in control (which he hasnt done his past few starts). He must locate all his pitches and keep the Sox hitters off balance.

Offense must attack early AND often. Buerle cannot get into a groove because then he can get to be unhittable. 1,2,8,9 need to lay down a lot of bunts (he doesnt field his position well) and then if they get on, they have to put pressure on him by stealing (AJ arm? = 10% thrown out). Then of course our big hitters 3,4,5,6 have to come up REALLY big with some key RBI!

Go TWINS!!!!!!
