Stay Classy Chicago...

''It seems like they can't do anything wrong here,'' Buehrle said of the Twins, after admitting that the Sox do flinch a bit coming to the dome. ''[Manager Ozzie Guillen] calls them 'piranhas,' but I call them 's---heads.' I would tell you what I really call them, but I know you couldn't print it. They get on base, bunt, steal, bloop singles -- it's [bleep]ing annoying.''

Poor Mark Buehrle, baseball can be so unfair. At least he didn't complain that Twins turned the fans on to blow out, like the last big loss he had at the Dome.

I try to follow baseball (not just the Twins) as much as possible and I can not think of a bigger baby than Mark Buehrle. He always has an excuse, a complaint. A loss is never b/c the other team beat him or b/c he pitched poorly (he had no control for the first 4 innings). Nope it's never on him or the Sox. How people can cheer for this guy is beyond me, much less spend money on a jersey w/ his name. I couldn't root him even if he was a Twin.

So call the Twins whatever you want Buehrle but last night I get to call them winners.

Come on boys win tonight!

Go Twins!

I think it must be tough to be a White Sock

Leading the AL Central all season long with that 3-game set at the Thunderdome in the back of your min the whole time…

Geez....

F$ck GIrly.

That’s ridiculous. I didn’t think it was possible for me to have a greater desire to beat the Sox than I already had. But this did it.

Buehrle is a fat head

People boo AJ, but he rarely says anything like what Buehrle says routinely. Even in his rookie year he was a mouthy chump. Asking him to be classy is like putting lip stick on a pig.

AJ

I don’t know why we boo AJ. We should be thanking him for being good enough back in the day to net us Liriano, Nathan, and Bonser.

Bonser has been getting much better in the bullpen with a hiccup here and there. Since the beginning of August he’s got a 3.49 ERA and 27 K’s and 8 BB in 28.1 IP.

I’m going to make a 2009 prediction that Boof is a major reason why our bullpen turns around next year. I think they’ll start grooming him in the off season to be a bullpen guy and not a long relief guy.

lipstick on a pig lol.

Peyton's good but have you ever heard of Jeff George?

AJ

I totally agree on your point about AJ. I don’t know why people boo him. He was always a good guy here. I don’t recall him saying anything that bad about the Twins after he left (like Ortiz did). I like the way he plays.

That pig had better be a girl!

I don’t take kindly to transvestite pigs! And I can tell the difference!

Okay, no, I can’t.

Isn’t that baseball?

Maybe Twins baseball.

Other teams like to hit home runs in addition to doing the things above. You should try it some time…

Yeah

Obviously a team needs to hit a lot of home runs to be successful. I mean, look at the Detroit Tigers and their 194 home runs.

What’s that? The Tigers were mathematically eliminated sometime around July 4th? Oh. . .bad example, then.

Only one team in MLB has hit fewer home runs than the Twins. . .yet only three have scored more runs. Twins baseball seems to be working fine, thanks.

Last I checked

the Twins have never hit a lot of homeruns. Nonetheless, they seem to find themselves in the race nearly every season since 2000.

I’ll take my speed, bunts and MVP’s power before I’ll take a bunch of homerun hitters who strikeout more.

Also

The White Sox have all those players with a bunch of homeruns, but Konerko and Thome are hitting .245 and .243 with those 33 and 21 homeruns. I’ll take our .300+ averages.

He called us bleeping blankheads....

…. and then said what he really wanted to call us couldn’t be printed. Weird.

Well what do you know

Buehrle’s right, the Twins CAN do no wrong in the Dome…
