Rarely do I sit through a whole game without missing at least a few innings,

But I’m glad I stuck through tonight. And I’m glad I live on the West Coast. I can savor this win for a few more hours!

We are in the driver's seat now...this was a team series win...

Everybody from Punto to Reyes did something in this three game dominance to put us in first place. All we have to do is sweep the Royals and we are in the playoffs. I believe we can do it. Ditto on the heart thing …. Go TWINS…………..

Wow....

Here’s the deal. My wife was never a twins fan until I met her. Me watching 130+ games (start to finish) a year, whe started to take notice. Mostly it had to do with Joe Mauer and his eyebrows…(not sideburns!). Anyway, her coworkers bought her a maur jersey for her birthday…she wore it the last two nights, but had to work tonight. SHe called me when it was 6-1 and asked me if I was wearing it. Iwasn’t it. The minute after I put it on….GOGO hit his first triple…..go figure. ;)

the little things

It is those little things that seem to make the difference. The Twins are now 3-0 on days that I wear my little Kirby Puckett pin (which I recently found) from 1990. Now I take it everywhere I go.

Unbelieveable

I had to sit through DJ and the Hawk this whole fucking series. They are the biggest whiners, homers, complainers, bad analysts, and general idiots of all time.

Their total and complete silence for about 2 whole minutes after Casilla sealed the deal was the most beautiful sound I’ve ever heard.

Anyone know where to download a link to that audio? I was at the Dome last night, and just now got my hearing back enough to listen to it! Go TWINS!! It was only my second game to see in person, and I will never forget that one!

Great rally!

That was a legendary rally—basically the Twins rallied to save any playoff chance. On the other hand, they played awful defense in the 4th inning. You can say all you want, but they basically played panic ball in that inning. Slowey deserved a bit better actually.

I also must say that the bullpen came through again. I hope that restores some of that fleeting confidence.

Twins played great after the fourth, but the Sox gotta be kicking themselves that they couldn’t hold the lead—outta this world.

Don't let up!

We didn’t just sweep the White Sox for nothing. They’ll be pumped returning home. We need to take all three from KC and hope the Indians can win a game or two.

Aweomse win last night, but we have to move on to this series and hope to clinch this weekend.
