Anyone remember the rally caps from the ’87??? World Series where guys like Gaetti and Hrbek and Puckett would shake their caps back and forth upside down, kinda like bums asking for money? This always works for me…Everyone should do it tonight!!!

Anyone listen to Mike and Mike this morning? They said the Twins got ripped because they won the season series. There shouldn’t even be this 163rd game, and it should at least be at the Dome. They both picked the Twins because they thought they would be angry.

Should be enough...

He’s coming off of a horrible outing. 2 in his last 3 in fact.
He’s still recovering from tommy john surgery.
He has thrown over 180 IP already this year.
Historically pitchers don’t do well on 3 days rest. At least in this era.
I’m sure Blackburn will have a short leash, and Liriano won’t be far behind

Fair enough.

He’s relying on his slider, which is good. Like Neil said it is moving great and is a great out-pitch for him so far. His fastball looks great as well.

That's why I don't like Gardenhire.
If you’re gonna bat LNP, then you should have him bunting until two strikes. I just can’t see the logic in having him swing away. If you’re gonna have him swing away, then pinch hit for him.

Kubel should have started today. THERE IS NO REASON WHY CUDDYER SHOULD HAVE STARTED TODAY but this is on Mauer and Morneau…

All season this team had no real killer instinct. That is why they could never take 1st place or grow the lead when they did.
for me this team FAILED on mental toughness, the rest was just how it showed on the field

The Twins’ Season was Fantastic, Proved me wrong, But not being able to Win the Big Game is what did them in in the end, we Could have Clinched VS KC, We didnt then our Offense Lays the Big Goose Egg when our Pitcher Pitches Phenominal

I look at it this way
if Cuddyer doesn’t run, would it have been better if the inning ended w/ him just standing at 3B?
I would not have sent him but I understand why the guys in the booth liked the play, you just didn’t know if the Twins would get another runner at 3B so you have to take your shot.
