This is so hard to deal with...

I wouldn’t have been that upset if it was the playoffs. Sure I’d love to see them in the WS, but had the Twins at least made it there, I would have felt there was a true reason for the season.

What makes it harder is that we should have locked it up on Saturday, and we missed several chances with six blown games in August.

Five games would have been a hell of a lot easier than just one game…

Glad to see the two underdogs fighting it out in the end. It could have easily been either one of us.

The way I look at it:

This game was a battle for one of two positions:

1) The chance to get stomped on by the Rays.

2) The chance to laugh at the team who gets stomped by the Rays.

It’s a win-win…sort of.
