This season was crazy. There were tears shed, laughs shared, and most of all: overwhelming love for Wonder Boy. Oh, and yeah, I guess something about that Mauer guy. MVP or something? Whatever.
But now the question is...where do your loyalties lie? Just from reading posts around Twinkie Town, it seems the Angels are a favorite of Twins fans to win, but some of you may be harboring secret Yankee love or something. And since it's completely none of my business, I want to know.
So....here it is. Which World Series winner would you like to see in 2009? An Angels team playing for a fallen comrade? A Yankees "team of destiny" (sorry, threw up a little in my mouth there)? A Dodgers team ready to come back? Or maybe a Rockies team trying to make a name for themselves again? Or, I suppose, a Phillies team looking to go back-to-back?

I think some people might prescribe to the "I root for the team that beat me" philosophy.

I'm all for the underdogs...
(I’m a Twins fan, remember?) but I’m also all for the AL as long as it’s not the Yankees. :)

I voted Angels
For Adenhart, for Torii, and for what a big market Twins team would look like (right on, whoever said that earlier.) I would be really happy with a Rockies win too – love the underdogs. But in a tiebreaker, I probably would go with the AL, so probably the Angels.

but yeah…Rockies would be alright, but there’s just something about the Angels this year that makes me think they’ve got it. And they deserve it. :)

Yeah, for sure.
But I was really hoping for the Rockies to represent the NL. Such a shame. Neither the Dodgers or Phillies do anything for me.
