Tigers to lose free agents?
Yahoo Sports reports that Tigers GM Dave Dombrowski says it will be impossible to sign all their free agents this winter. Some of the names that are on that list are the central infielders Placido Polanco and Adam Everett as well as setup man Brandon Lyon and closer Fernando Rodney.

No.
- Everett failed with the Twins last year, so I doubt they’d want to bring him back
- Lyon is good enough that he’s likely going to be expensive, and the Twins already are paying multiple millions to three different righthanded relievers next year (Rauch, Guerrier, Crain).
- Polanco is going to be Type A, so he’d cost a first-round draft pick.
- Rodney is Fernando Rodney.
