New Uniforms on Monday
From the Startribune... "The Twins are scheduled to unveil a new-look road uniform along with subtle changes to their home uniform Monday at IDS Crystal Court. The Twins have worn the same primary home and road uniforms since 1987."
I'm going to guess that any changes will be minor but there is a part of me that worries someone "creative" is in charge of this and will try to make a splash. I think the Twins already have some of the best jerseys in baseball and I really hope they do not try to reinvent the wheel here. So please no Pixie vests, no Red jerseys...
I'm looking forward to Monday...

Powder Blue
I would like to see them break those out for a game or two

Maybe the powder blues
can be the new road alternate jersey?

Cream color....
is the rumor for one of them.
Nothing like trying to get the poor fan to pony up more bucks for NEW Twins stuff.
Visit www.TwinsCards.com and check out "rosters" to see my collection!

Living near San Francisco
I’m used to seeing the Giants in their cream home jerseys but a cream colored home jersey w/ red and blue…that sounds bad.
It’s all about getting us to pony up more $$$ for fan gear… The Twins adult diapers are going to rock!

Poor Royals… at least they don’t wear those today

I cheated a bit... it was just for one day
They had “Turn Ahead the Clock” day in 1999 and several teams wore “futuristic” uniforms to honor the millenium.
Lots of hideous uniforms out there. The White Sox wore shorts a few times… we’ve talked about that here a few times. Astros wore garish rainbows for years. A few teams went all all red in the 1970s too.

Oh man
I had forgot all about that until now. You undid the mind wipe.

Here's the Twins version...
Very “retro-futuristic”. The MICR font on the back has been on checks since the 1960s and the orbiting satellite around the Twins looks very Sputnik Era.

I don't remember
a KC Royal being part of the Village People?

Eh, the red ones aren't *too* bad.
I was expecting worse. I wouldn’t buy it, but it’s better than the powder blues.
I loved the Saturday uniforms from last year, those were great. I’d like to see more of them next year.

Klingenbeck
Thanks for reminding me. What a horrible pitcher he was.

maybe it was the red jersey?
anyone know if they wore the red caps with the red jerseys?
I think that red jersey would give the Twins the worst jersey in baseball…or it would be a tie with the Braves red Sunday jerseys.

I
I loved the Red ‘Dairy Queen’ jerseys
:(

hopefully
they don’t touch the home unis. Im excited to see how the actually look in the sun! I would utilize the “TC” logo on the front of the alternate jersey and ditch the “M” logo road caps.

Metrosexuals
Isn’t that a team name in the California league? The San Jose Metrosexuals.
