Twinkie Town 2010 Top 50...Runoff voting for Prospect Number 12!

Greetings Twins fans from central Nebraska.  What a round we had today!  With a total of 318 votes cast for Prospect #12, Anthony Slama held a slim 9 vote lead (57-48) over Max Kepler-Rozycki.  That falls within the 3% margin, thus we will have a runoff to determine the twelfh and thirteenth prospects in this year's poll.

I'm not certain when I will be arriving in Denver, thus, tomorrow's cutoff may again be a bit later in the evening.  With everyone in today's voting getting over 5%, they all will be included in the voting for Prospect #14 tomorrow.  Please continue to let us know who you prefer for the two open slots in the next round.

These were the two guys on the list

who I thought should have been last among that group.

ditto

Though if I have to choose between them I’ll take the guy who has played baseball at a high level before.

I agree, for the most part

Nothing against Slama, I still hope for a Jack Ramsey call of a Twins game in which he say’s something like “he strikes him out with the two-seam Slama.” But I had to go with the complete unknown in Kepler.

I guess I have to compare him to Jean, whom I don’t really know anything about, but since his signing bonus was one sixth of Jean’s, I’ll say Kepler has one-sixth the potential of the top prospect, which, if you regress it to the mean and than subtract the BABIP times the ISO minus the fUZR, you get Twelve, which seems about right.

I vote none of the above

but since that wasn’t available, I’ll go with the one with upside, even if his name is annoying.
