Why keep Keppel?
Unless the Twins hope to sneak him thru the mess before the Rule 5.
And maybe the Twins are keeping Keppel/Butera/Pridie/Hughes until they have to make a decision on the Rule 5 draft themselves.
Yes, some hoped for a Boof comeback, but maybe he isn’t worth the arbitration fight. Minor league/split contract only-type of guy.
Waiting to see if the Twins do cut ties with Crain or harris next.
