Community Projection: Justin Morneau

Leading up to Sunday when pitchers and catchers report, we'll be running community projections on the 40-man roster.  Projections will be basic to make them as accessible and easy to create as possible.  Up next, uber-Canadian Justin Morneau.

That would actually be .295. Do the math…

…that would actually be .304…

Is this poor math becoming an epidemic?

through some sort of glitch in in the award system, Morneau will inexplicably be awarded the Rookie of the year and manager of the year in addition to his MVP, gold glove, silver slugger, and Cy Young awards.

Plus

the Butkus and Naismith awards.
He is also a leading candidate to be then next federal reserve chairmen, or possibly supreme court justice. This guy can do it all.

I am looking for Morneau to have a typical year in batting average an d RBI while increasing his HR total. I definitely believe that he has not hit his long ball potential in the past and I think this should be the season that he sets a new career high. Look for Justin to have another top five MVP season in 2009.
