Koskie finally better, working out with Twins
Corey Koskie has resumed conditioning - he worked out with the Gophers this spring, and is now down in Fort Myers at the Twins' minor league complex, doing drills and taking BP. He's hoping to catch on with the Canadian squad for the World Baseball Classic, and hopes to get on a team's roster from there.
Perhaps the Twins' third-base dilemma will be solved? (Probably not - but I think we all wish Koskie, a class act and a guy that still lives in the Twin Cities, the absolute very best of luck as he tries to get back into the game.)

Somebody will give him a minor league deal
But only if he plays well in the WBC. You might think there’s no risk in a minor league deal, but it does upset the flow of talent at a position.

I had no idea he was still trying to make it back.
One would think it’s an extremely long shot. He’s a good guy so you certainly wish him all the best but even when he was last healthy there were starting to be some questions about his worth in the league (if I remember right).

He hit .261 /.343/ .490 with good defense in his last year. But two and a half years is a long time to be away from the game.
