Boof out for season

From La Velle E. Neal III at the Star Tribune:

The press release states that Dr. Koco Eaton, `found and repaired partial tears to the right labrum and rotator cuff in Bonser’s shoulder. Bonser is expected to miss six to eight months recovering from the surgery.

I just don't get how you have two MRIs and miss this, but this wasn't just the Twins doctors - the Rays' doctors also looked at the MRI and didn't find anything. Humber, you just made the team, good job.

Boof

has done everything asked of him. He just kept running up against the fine line/huge separation between talent and genius. He’s always been 99.99% of a major league pitcher. But that’s not enough.

Sorry, Boof.

I feel bad for him.

Hopefully he can come back next year and rebound. I was looking for him to get some of his mojo back this year…nuts to that I guess.

Aargh

My son will have to find a new favorite player for this season – “Boof” was the first player’s name he learned.

Failed Prediction Once Again

For the 3rd straight season now my prediction of World Series MVP will prove to be wrong. Maybe next year Boof.
