PrintJustin Morneau returns from his World Baseball Classic adventure today. Canada was summarily bounced out of the tournament, losing 6-5 to the USA and 6-2 to Italy.
It seems that, following Canada's win over Team USA in the 2006 WBC, Morneau not only spent some time chirping his American teammates with the Twins, he also hung a Canadian flag in Joe Nathan's locker.
Consequently, I can only hope that something along the lines of the following scene greets Morneau today:
Nothing too over-the-top, of course.

nothing too over the top, but something over the top! This would be hilarious if an American flag were hung in front of his locker and somebody dressed in flag clothes!
How about
the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra playing Proud to Be An American and the national anthem, over and over.
Silly Canadians.
