I'm headed to the Twins spring games on THursday and Friday. What kind of stuff does everyone most want to know about? I'm going to be taking notes throught the day...

- Is Joe Crede looking healthy?

- Does Delmon Young really appear to have a different batting stance, and is he driving the ball?

- Is Carlos Gomez’ patience at the plate improved and is his swing more under control?

- What is Denard Span’s body language? He’s been slumping this spring, is it getting to him?

- Who is Gardy snuggling up next to? Harris or Tolbert?

- Is Mijares showing better command and improved conditioning at this point?

- How does Baker’s fastball look? Is he finally getting the additional pop, or should we expect 2+ HR/9 early in the season?

- Is Ayala’s sinkerball working?

- How does Crain look? Is he going to take the 8th inning job and run with it?

Questions:

Adam Peterson basically covered it, but I’ll add mine, if only for emphasis.

Does Carlos Gomez look under control at the plate? What I mean is, does he stay balanced at the plate, or does he swing wildly and fall over, like last year?

Does Liriano look like he has pop? I know that its early in the year, so its hard to say what his velocity will be, but is he getting some of it back? Also, I think LENIII’s article said something about a sinker? Is this a new pitch? If so, can he throw all 4 for strikes?

Is Perkins throwing meatballs and getting lucky, or has he improved since last year? Are pitches deceptive, at all?

Didn’t feel like making a topic about this, but I think its worth mentioning. He went 2-2 today with 3 rbi. Why aren’t we a national league team? Seems like the kid can hit. I remember last year he had a day like that at the plate against the Brewers.
