Twins in the Windy City

Star-divide

Hi all,

Wondering if there are any Twins fans here in Chicagoland that would like to get together for a game at the Cell or at Wrigley this summer?

I know tickets are still available for opening weekend April 10,11,12 on the Southside.  They play again in May at the Cell, then at Wrigley in June and again in September at the Cell.

I'm going to attempt to make as many of the games as possible and would love to hit a game with someone who's NOT a Chicago fan.

Let me know!

Matt

Twins fan in Austin, TX

Hey Matt, I am putting together a roadtrip this summer for Twins games vs the NL Central. Gonna hit, the games @ Wrigley, the Dome, Miller Park and Busch Stadium. Let me know what your plans are. It’ll be nice to know a Twins fan in Chicago. I was the only one wearing a light blue Hrbek jersey at the Cell for the play-in game last season in a sea of all black. Anyway, keep in touch and we’ll figure something out.

Hey Murphy.

Sounds like a blast. Have you gotten tickets for the Wrigley games yet? I’ve heard their sold out for Sat and Sunday already, but i literally live a block from the stadium and i’m sure we could get some good seats from scalpers a couple hours before the game.

If you need a place to crash after a long day/weekend of baseball and drinking, my place is free too :)

Shoot me an email with the details: matt.jesser AT gmail DOT com. I might be interested in hitting up a Brewers game or too as well. Let me know.

What would my life be like without the '91 World Series?

Milwaukee

Both of you should just check with me when you get to Milwaukee – I live here and always have a big group come down when the Twins are in town. It’s a really fun time if you’ve never been. And i’d love to run down to chicago when the twins play the Cubs, or anytime vs. the sox

FYI

Twins-Cubs June 12-14 is sold out. Actually, it was one of the first series to sell out three weeks ago when individual Cubs tickets went on sale. Of course, resellers have tickets at a steep markup.

I’m always looking for someone to go with to the Cell for a Twins game (I’m afraid to go to the South Side after dark). Count me in.

One day I hope to come up with something worthy of this space.

I am in the area and am planning on going to some games this year. Milwaukee, Chicago, even a trip up to the Dome at some point this year.
