Gameday is finally linked
to the MLB scoreboard where it should be. Now let’s see if they,ve ironed out the other kinks and that it will actually follow along with the plays as opposed to being updated at each half inning. (fingers crossed).

That's pretty close to opening day
Replace Morales with Redmond and Span (possibly) with Gomez, and there’s your ’09 Twins.
ouch
I was hoping Span might break out of his slump today…

Garza must
have trouble hopping off the mound to get a bunt because both Span and Casilla have tried it on the very first pitch offered…and both have fouled back.
Garza is about to make
another significant leap forward, IMO. Wouldn’t be suprised if he’s an All-Star this year. He really has good stuff.

Credo pops out
and Mors is up…
what do you think of the Twins stock in the Joe department?
Joe Mauer
Joe Nathan
Joe Crede
Is anyone listening to the Radio Broadcast?
It’s the first I’ve heard an “Open Mic Monday.” I’m not sure what I think. I tuned in so I could listen to the game, but I’m getting more pre-game-like opinions than I’m getting play-by-play.
Any opinions on this?
They had promoted this earlier
Its still Spring Training and I think it adds a little bit to the analysis – for instance – just had an interesting question regarding Tolbert and his Spring power numbers. But there is a caller who is going on too long nd Gordon and Gladden are ignoring the game altogether – not good. Gordon has to answer calls, while breaking to call the game a little too…

Terrible Idea
but if they are gonna do it…Good To see them do it during spring training and not the regular season hahaha
Have now heard
home team boo and then 2 minutes later cheer and Gordon and Gladden are going on and on without telling us what happened on the field either way and the 3rd is over without Gordon making a SINGLE CALL!!!!!!!!! Alright this is frustrating.

But, the bonus of radio coverage ...
New local hardware store ads!
Ron Gardenhire: “Toby, it’s time your generation learns about your local hardware store. What are you doing?”
Toby Gardenhire: “I’m twittering my friends about my local hardware store.”
Beautiful.
It works when it's on TV.
But I can’t watch the game. They were discussing Brandon Harris’s new role (I’m a fan, btw), and the crowd roars for no apparent reason.
the Rangers released lefty reliever Jimmy Gobble today.
should the Twins Sign Him to Shore up the void left by Neshek/Bonser?? What do you guys think?
there was a good reason
for the Rangers to release him (and if the Rangers release him we know he is bad!!!)
Good Point on the Loogey guy.
we already Have Breslow…Who I hope gets alot more innings than last year because he looked fantastic. and Hopefully Mijares can get his shit wired together and snap out of this slump hes had this spring.
and if Mijares doesnt go north
Duensing has done an admirable job this spring. He could fill in until Mijares finds control over the ball and himself.
for goodness sake
dont we already have a logjam of pitchers who are on the bubble? AAAA’ers!? Humber, Ayala, Breslow, Duensing, Dickey…why in the hell would we go out and get Gobble?

did Span
just get his second strikeout of the day?
by montanatwinsfan on Mar 30, 2009 2:30 PM EDT reply actions
wow
3 strikeouts…hard to steal bases and score runs if you can’t get on base…let’s hope Span turns it around soon.

Twice looking on three pitches, once swinging on a curve in the dirt
Who was that in left field after Young came out? Was that Parmelee? That guy looks huge!
