Morales
fails to throw out Iwamura – “who stole second easily” but the Rays announcers blame that on Dickey, not Morales.
did Dickey throw
a knuckleball. If so, Morales had no chance at throwing him out…hell, he would have trouble throwing out Benjie Molina if Dickey threw a knuckleball.
Yeah,
I suspect that is what happened, announcers said Iwamura timed Dickey’s delivery.

alright itwas frustrating
to have Gordon and Gladden talk Twins baseball on Monday without calling the game… today is even more frustrating as the Rays announcers (only feed mlb.com will give me) are talking Rays baseball without calling the game and gameday is stuck so the Twins just scored one? and I dont even know how.
Dickey with a nice quick
1-2-3 inning in the 2nd. Announcers back to announcing and had some praise for Dickey’s knuckleball.
+1
It drives me crazy! Call the game. There’s plenty of dead air between pitches to do “analysis”. But some of these guys seem to not realize that their job is to cal the game. They think they’re on Baseball Tonight or something.

In all honesty
The guys had a good spring and if it weren’t for Humber being out of options I could easily see the Twins keeping him as their long relief/spot starter. I could see him being one of our first callups if someone gets injured though.
Peyton's good but have you ever heard of Jeff George?
Span's slump continues
Another weak groundout to the shortstop. He’s looking like the pre-2008 Span.

Gardy’s just looking for a reason to cut him.

While this may not be Morales' fault
the Rays still have 4 stolen bases so far – that is not overly reassuring.
not overly reassuring...
speaking of which, neither is this extended slump of our supposed lead off hitter, orthe Spring performance of one of the key pieces of the Santana trade, Mr. Ho-Humber.
