Harry Kalas Dead

PrintHarry Kalas (March 26, 1936 - April 13, 2009) collapsed in the broadcast booth earlier today. An hour later he was pronounced dead. Apparently he was sick for a while, and even had a goal of making it to spring training this year. The voice of the Phillies for almost 40 years, he has also been heard on NFL Films. It's a very sad day for not only the Phillies, but all of baseball.
