Juan Morillo cleared waivers and became the second hard-throwing prospect to be outrighted to Rochester this season. This is the best case for the Twins fans, who thought they would lose both players to waiver claims.

Great!!

That’s a great move for the Twins, Morillo isn’t ready to be consistent in MLB yet but another year at AAA might be just what the Dr. ordered. Then the Twins can capitalize and bring him up either late this year if he finds his control or beginning of next. Great move by the Twins to get him through waivers.

Peyton's good but have you ever heard of Jeff George?

Wow, what a break. Guess these guys aren't as good as we think.

Yes, multiple reasons

Ultimately, no team thought the player was a better option than what they have in the majors right now. That doesn’t mean the player can’t become a good option for the Twins. They just have work to do to get there. In any event, this buys us time to fix these guys.

CMath...

…I went into more detail on the other thread, but I think the Twins only had to expose him to those American League teams that didn’t pass on him a couple weeks ago when the Twins claimed Morillo.

Catchers

So we’re going to carry 3 catchers?

What about Matt Tolbert? How long does Casilla have to struggle before we see our freind Matty B

Either Morales goes down or Redmond goes on the DL when Crain is activated
