Kubel: K'd

Mahay owned Jason right there. That’s disappointing, although not exactly unexected.

Bummer. At least we tied it up.

Soria

If they put soria in for the bottom of the ninth, lets just hope he’s a bit rusty and M&M can win it for us.

I doubt we'll see Soria...

unless the Royals grab the lead.

Or we get to the 14th inning…

Looks like...

we won’t get 2 innings out of Joe. Unless he can lock it down pretty fast here…

Nathan's fastball??

Only 91?? I thought he had 95 or 96…….

The gun has been a bit slow the last few days..

They had Slowey throwing 87-89 when batters were late on his fastball last night.

Nice play by Punto!!

12 pitches to Crisp, nice move to his left and a great throw to first.

Willie Bloomquist...

has never been this lucky in his life. His ass has bailed out on every offspeed pitch this series, yet he has found a hole. Good luck keeping that up Willie!!!

Good bases running by Bloomquist.

Crede looked him back, then threw on to first for the out. Buscher made a good decision by not trying to nail him. Crede maybe could have held him for another second, but I’m pretty sure he was going no matter what.

No doubt.

The way this game is going it’s hard to tell what will happen when. Extra innings seems likely…

I love how managers are slaves..

to the Left-Righty thing. Statistically speaking, you only improve your chances by 2% by adhering to “The Book.”

but I can’t wait for the next doofus to leave a mediocre LHP to face our good LH hitters instead of a good RHP.

He's also terrible

because Guerrier keeps missing his spots and hanging good pitches right now the middle of the plate. And all he can do is foul them off.

just hung about 5 pitches to a terrible hitter. We got away with it this time, but holy Joesus, was that bad…

Dear Carlos,

When bunting it is customary to put the ball on the ground, not in the air. Also it needs to be fair.

I think it's time for Go-Go...

to go through what Torii went through in 2000. Great D, but couldn’t hit. We sent him down…he spent a few months down there…came back and started hitting and never looked back.

had to step out for awhile and was hoping it was in extra innings,

but I didn’t think Dickey would have given the game away.

Dickey deserves this:

Lost our chance when Gomez failed to get down the bunt, you could tell we were in trouble at that point. There is a reason games seldom go past 11 innings. MLB bullpens aren’t good enough to shut a offense down for long, and our bottom guys (Breslow and Dickey) are not really fit for a major league roster.
