I have a feeling he would
he seems to be fond of the Midwest. He also seems concerned about his legacy, which would hopefully mean he would appreciate working with a great pitching coach and playing for a manager who isn’t going to burn out his arm.
He also wants to play for a contender, that may be a harder sell.

Well, his real hangup
seems to be that he wants to stay in the NL. With his NTC, a team would at least have to agree to pick up his 22 million option for 2013. He’s relatively affordable until then.
All of those things make it less likely that he’d come to MN, but even if he would, it would cost quite a bit in prospects, something the Twins almost never do.

I would do that
as I think the Pads might too. That would be one hell of a trade…if the Padres called and said, “Hey, we will trade Peavy to you for DY and somebody else” I would fall off my rocker!
