If Cuddyer had a saw, he would cut his hand off.
His finger "blew up" last night. Cuddyer has had a sprained right thumb, dislocated right index finger, and a strained tendon in his left index finger. Ouch. Cuddyer stated to Ron Gardy that he would cut his hand off if he had a saw. Cuddyer will be examined by a doctor today, and see a hand specialist tomorrow.
With Denard Span out with an inner ear disorder, the Twins have three position bench players.
That being said, I would not be surprised if a roster change is coming.
Glen Perkins is due back next week, after suffering from left elbow inflammation.
Lets all hope Cuddyer doesn't saw his hand off. =)

If Span and Cuddyer both..
..go to the DL, it’s really going to hurt. Span is hitting near .300, and he’s been the perfect leadoff guy working counts, walks, etc.

I think it will be Cuddyer and not Span
I think they’ll just tell Span to keep taking his medicine. Cuddyer’s finger is shot.

Actually on Twins.com
Cuddyer may play as early as this TUESDAY vs. Lefty Paul Maholm (once a Twins draftee)
so I think Cuddyer should take 2 more days off and then play against LHP Zach Duke for his first game back
I think Crede should do about the same….
I say we put Span on 15 Day DL.

If Span is DLed
than we have 25 men I believe…..so maybe after 7/8 days
we send Morales back down, and for the next 7/8 days we call up Jason Pridie or David Winfree!
that would Be AWESOME!

Yeah, they drained his finger and gave him cortizone.
