I'm mildly surprised by this

He’s seemed to find his AA legs recently and pitched better, but he hasn’t been great. Usually the Twins wait to see a longer stretch of quality before promoting guys, especially when he was struggling as recently as 6 weeks ago.

I’m not against this—he’s a mature guy who can handle it mentally, and giving him a chance to figure out how to get more mature hitters out if he can is fine with me. But I am surprised.

But Manship’s the better prospect. They promote as much on upside as numbers.
