Around SBN: An Explanation For Some Of The Perplexing HOF Snubs

Road Woes

Current away record is 14-22.

Star-divide

I do not want to make more of this than it is worth, but May versus June has been very different months for us on the road.

On the road in May the Twins tied one road series, (Det 1-1) lost a total of 4 road series, (Balt 0-2, NY 0-4, CWS 1-2 and TB 1-2) and did not win any road series.

On the road in June the Twins have tied one series, (Oak 2-2) lost one series, (Sea 1-2) and won two road series. (Cubs 2-3, Mil 2-3) Noteworthy would be that the lost series to Seattle was the first road series of the month, meaning we have-since then-Tied, Won and Won, and momentum is nice.

Currently, the Twins have 4 road games left to end this month and have a great opportunity to turn this into a trend.

Either way, May was miserable, and this month has been a pleasant surprise. And for those of us who tend to live and die daily by the box score,  (I wish I did not, but dammit I do) this gives a little hope to our past road woes.

Or I could be completely wrong. GO TWINS.
